Every year, there’s the Iditarod Sled Dog Race where dogs cover 1149 miles of beautiful terrain to Nome and all of the dogs are restarting their race from Willow. If this is on your calendar of things to do on March 3rd, it’s critical that you have a great seat – and a great snack.

While the race starts in Anchorage on Friday, there’s a restart in Willow on Saturday, where the mushers are set to leave the highways, and you will be driving through Wasilla to get there.
